These terms explain how Compass Stays membership works, including membership tiers, campground discounts, refunds, member responsibilities, and future program changes.

1. About Compass Stays

Compass Stays is more than an RV campground discount membership. It is being built as a travel companion and RV lifestyle community where members can discover campgrounds, local attractions, restaurants, food spots, hidden gems, trails, beautiful sights, local businesses, and future travel resources.

2. Membership Tiers

Founding Member is a $50 one-time lifetime membership and is limited to the first 100 eligible paid signups. Gold Member is $49.99 per year. Basic Member is $39.99 per year. Prices may change in the future, but the price shown at the time of purchase controls that purchase.

3. Lifetime Membership Meaning

For Founding Members, lifetime membership means access to the Compass Stays membership program for the lifetime of the Compass Stays membership program. It does not mean the lifetime of any person, specific campground, discount, website feature, partner, or offer.

4. Campground Discounts and Offers

Compass Stays works with participating campgrounds to provide member savings. Participating campground offers may include a flat 50% discount off eligible standard nightly campsite rates where available. Each campground maintains control over blackout dates, restricted dates, eligible site types, booking methods, minimum stays, maximum stays, availability, and campground rules.

Discounts are not guaranteed at every campground, every date, every site type, or every location. Members are responsible for confirming pricing, availability, restrictions, and booking details directly with the campground before traveling or booking.

5. Future Expansion

Compass Stays may expand to include participating restaurants, local businesses, site attractions, food recommendations, trails, hidden gems, beautiful sights, member reviews, forums, blogs, travel books, magnets, T-shirts, camping gear, RV lifestyle products, and other camping or travel-related features.

6. Reviews, Forums, and Member Content

Compass Stays may allow members to submit reviews, ratings, photos, comments, and recommendations for campgrounds, attractions, restaurants, food places, trails, local businesses, and hidden gems. Members agree that anything they submit should be honest, based on real experience, and not fake, misleading, copied, threatening, or inappropriate.

By submitting content, members give Compass Stays permission to use, display, edit, publish, and share that content on the website, maps, marketing, emails, social media, and other Compass Stays materials.

7. Annual Memberships and Renewal

Gold and Basic memberships are annual memberships. They only automatically renew if the member clearly chooses auto-renewal where available. Members may cancel future renewal before the renewal date. Canceling future renewal does not automatically refund the current paid membership period.

8. Refunds

Unless required by law, membership fees are generally non-refundable after purchase. Compass Stays may choose to offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. A member may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if they have not used a Compass Stays discount, partner offer, or paid member benefit.

9. No Guaranteed Savings

Compass Stays works to provide valuable member benefits, but it does not guarantee that a member will save a specific amount of money. Actual savings depend on where the member travels, partner participation, dates, restrictions, availability, and how often the membership is used.

10. Third-Party Businesses

Campgrounds, restaurants, attractions, local businesses, trails, and other listed places are independent third parties unless otherwise stated. Compass Stays does not own, operate, or control those businesses and is not responsible for their pricing, rules, service, availability, safety, cancellations, refunds, or guest disputes.

11. Member Responsibility

Members are responsible for safe travel decisions, reservations, road conditions, weather, campground rules, pet rules, RV size limits, local laws, attraction rules, and all personal property. Members also agree not to misuse discounts, share login information, submit fake reviews, harass others, or abuse partner businesses.

12. Changes to Compass Stays

Compass Stays is growing and may add, remove, or change membership benefits, partners, discounts, restaurants, attractions, reviews, forums, blogs, maps, merchandise, website features, prices, and business policies over time.
