Campground Partner Agreement Terms

Please review these terms before submitting your campground partner application.

Agreement to Partner Terms

By submitting this form, the Campground Partner confirms that the person submitting this application is authorized to act on behalf of the campground, RV park, resort, or outdoor lodging business listed in this form.

Independent Business Relationship

The Campground Partner is an independent business. Compass Stays does not own, operate, manage, control, supervise, or guarantee the Campground Partner's property, employees, services, reservations, prices, rules, safety, or guest experience.

Partner Offer

The Campground Partner agrees to provide verified active Compass Stays members a flat 50% discount off the eligible standard nightly campsite rate, subject to availability and the blackout dates, restricted dates, eligible site types, minimum and maximum stays, and normal campground rules submitted by the Campground Partner.

The Campground Partner maintains control over blackout dates, restricted dates, unavailable dates, eligible site types, and normal campground restrictions. Unless the Campground Partner states otherwise, the 50% discount does not apply to taxes, government fees, resort fees, utility charges, extra guest fees, extra vehicle fees, pet fees, add-ons, rentals, merchandise, food, or other non-campsite charges.

Reservations and Payments

Unless separately agreed in writing, Compass Stays does not handle campground reservations or collect campground booking payments. The Campground Partner is responsible for bookings, deposits, taxes, refunds, cancellations, check-in, check-out, guest disputes, and applying the valid Compass Stays 50% member discount when available.

Campground Responsibilities

The Campground Partner is responsible for:

  • Operating safely, legally, and professionally.
  • Maintaining required licenses, permits, approvals, inspections, and insurance.
  • Following federal, state, county, and local laws.
  • Following health, safety, fire, tax, lodging, campground, accessibility, and service animal rules where applicable.
  • Providing accurate campground information and updating Compass Stays when important details change.
  • Honoring the approved Compass Stays 50% member discount when valid and available.

Listing and Promotion Permission

The Campground Partner gives Compass Stays permission to list and promote the campground using submitted information, photos, logos, descriptions, amenities, 50% discount details, restrictions, blackout dates, nearby attractions, nearby restaurants, trails, hidden gems, and other travel-related information.

Photo, Logo, and Content Permission

The Campground Partner confirms that it owns or has permission to use any photos, logos, graphics, descriptions, or other materials submitted to Compass Stays. The Campground Partner agrees not to submit content that violates another person or business's copyright, trademark, privacy rights, or ownership rights.

Reviews and Member Feedback

Compass Stays may allow members to submit honest reviews, ratings, photos, comments, recommendations, and feedback. Reviews may be positive, neutral, or negative. Compass Stays may moderate reviews for spam, threats, harassment, profanity, privacy concerns, fake reviews, clearly false information, unrelated content, illegal content, or inappropriate material. Compass Stays will not remove an honest review only because it is negative.

No Fake Reviews

The Campground Partner agrees not to create, buy, request, encourage, or submit fake reviews. The Campground Partner may not pay for positive reviews, offer rewards only for positive reviews, threaten members for negative reviews, pressure members to remove honest reviews, or submit fake negative reviews about competitors.

Member Data and Privacy

If Compass Stays provides member information to the Campground Partner, the Campground Partner may only use that information for legitimate booking, verification, customer service, or offer-related purposes. The Campground Partner may not sell, share, spam, or misuse member information.

Taxes and Legal Compliance

The Campground Partner is responsible for collecting and paying all applicable taxes, lodging taxes, occupancy taxes, sales taxes, tourism taxes, fees, deposits, utility fees, pet fees, cleaning fees, resort fees, and other charges connected to its campground operations.

Safety and On-Site Operations

The Campground Partner is solely responsible for the condition, safety, staffing, maintenance, rules, and operation of its property, including campsites, roads, utilities, hookups, bathhouses, cabins, pools, playgrounds, trails, fire pits, common areas, employees, contractors, activities, events, and security.

Compass Stays Branding

The Campground Partner may not use the Compass Stays name, logo, slogans, or branding without written permission. If permission is granted, branding must be used professionally and accurately. The Campground Partner must stop using Compass Stays branding if the partnership ends.

Termination

Either party may end participation by written notice. Compass Stays may suspend or remove a Campground Partner for false information, failure to honor the approved 50% member discount when valid and available, unsafe practices, misuse of member data, fake reviews, harassment, legal concerns, brand damage, poor member experience, or violation of this agreement.

No Guarantee

Compass Stays does not guarantee a specific number of bookings, visitors, reviews, revenue, website ranking, or member activity. Compass Stays provides listing, directory, membership, marketing, travel information, review, and community features as available.

Limitation of Responsibility

Compass Stays is not responsible for campground operations, reservation disputes, guest injuries, property damage, employee actions, contractor actions, tax issues, permit issues, unsafe conditions, weather, road conditions, member behavior, or disputes between members and the Campground Partner.

Electronic Signature

The Campground Partner agrees that checking agreement boxes, submitting this form, typing a name, and providing an electronic signature may be treated as an electronic signature and agreement record.

By submitting the campground partner form, the Campground Partner agrees to these terms.
