Why Compass Stays was started.
We spend a lot of time searching for campgrounds, comparing prices, checking routes, looking for nearby food, and trying to figure out whether an area is actually worth the stop.
We kept seeing the same problem: most campground memberships focus only on the discount, while most directories give travelers only a name, address, and a few basic details.
Compass Stays was built to connect the full trip — the campground, the savings, the local area, and the places worth discovering nearby.
Better travel should help everyone involved.

Compass Stays does not replace the campground’s booking process. Members book directly, and each campground keeps control of its availability, blackout dates, eligible sites, restrictions, rates, and normal guest policies.
That keeps the program useful for travelers without taking control away from the campground.
